This week I want you to look information about a hurricane that has hit the U.S. Tell me how big it got, what the effects were on people who lived at the area it it. You cannot use Hurricane Katrina, or Hurricane Andrew.

    Hurricane Emmily happened on August 31, 1993. It landed over Hatteras Island. The wind speeds were 92-115 miles per hour. It damaged homes, villages, signboards, and more. Over 700 buildings were either damaged or destroyed.This happened in North Carolina. The damage cost was $13 million. Its catagory was rated a 3.
