I want you to write me a paragraph telling me how earthquakes affect people around the world. Tell me where you got your sources (wikipedia doens’t count). You only get bonus this week if you write a post, and then respond to someone else’s post telling them what you learned from their paragraph.

Earthquakes Can make people want to help the needy. They terrify people around the world. Some peoples even donate food, clothes, or money for the people who lost their things. While in the area that got hit with the earthquake, people would be trying to find their thing and are homeless.

Earthquakes have many impacts worldwide.They leave many people homeless or jobless. Many deaths and injuries are caused during them due to falling objects such as buildings, bridges, etc… I got my information from the video in science class.

Earthquakes affect everyone around the world. Some people may not realize that earthquakes are happening where they are, but they are. Tons of earthquakes happen everyday, but most of the time you can’t even feel them. But when you can feel them, that’s when it starts to affect people. Why does it affect people? Well, due the violent shaking in the earth, objects will fall or break down. For example, when earthquakes happen, buildings can crash down, billboards will fall down, and all sorts of other objects, either severly injuring or killing people. I got my information from the notes we took in class and also from the video that we watched.

Earthquakes effect lives because when buildings are built you have to build so that they are earthquake secure. Also because if one occurs fires and being trapped can kill people. I got this information from the video in class and the lessons from class.

Good job with your blog, Rachel. I learned that you have to build buildings pretty secure in order to somewhat protect them from earthquakes. Also that if something traps people, it can kill them if they aren’t found.

Earthquakes can really mess up peoples lives. They happen almost everyday but you cant feel most of them. When a big one comes though watch out. They cause lots of destruction. The shaking causes many things to collapse like buildings and bridges. Lots of people become homeless after big earth quakes and many are either injured or killed. Many fires start after earthquakes because of things like gas lines braking or stoves being on when the buildings collapse. I got my information from the video we watched in class.

Earthquakes affect many people around the world. People who get hit by the earthquakes have left homeless if there house was not earthquake save. Some people might lose there jobs from being injured or there work being destroed. It affects other people across the world by the place might import food or other goods to them. Or people are just hurt from others getting hurt and all the deaths.

Earthquakes cause fires to happen that can burn down your house. They can collapse buildings and leave you under heavy rubble. Landslides can happen and trap you under and you can suffocate. Volcanos can erupt due to earthquakes you can’t feel. They can make bridges fall apart to pieces.
